The coworking space is split into two buildings opposite of each other. One of them houses the reception, meeting rooms, and hot desks area while the other building is reserved for members with fixed desks. Both buildings offer plenty of space and span over multiple floors.
The interior of KAPTÁR Budapest is designed to match various work preferences. The space includes a large open office area with a mix of seating options such as basic chairs, sofas and coffee tables, office chairs, bar tables, and even height-adjustable desks for ergonomic comfort.
Multiple meeting rooms of varying sizes are available for groups from two to twenty-four people. Phone booths for calls are free to use on a first-come first-serve basis and are even equipped with studio lights for video calls. A shared kitchen with different appliances can be used by every member.
Overall, the layout of the place is modern yet cozy with big windows, lots of plants, bookshelves and a lot of options to get comfortable.
The well-thought-out facilities at KAPTÁR make working here super comfortable. There are plenty of plug sockets and a stable Wifi connection across the whole building. You can choose between multiple seating options as well as standing at one of the height-adjustable desks.
Due to the phone booths and no-call policy on the open floor, the space is perfect for focus work. It is usually not too busy as well.
For important calls or meetings, it is advised to book a meeting room in advance. Fixed desks and lockers can be booked if you are a long-term member and want to leave your equipment at KAPTÁR.
The staff is super friendly and will always try their best to help you with any issue. Monitors and a selection of different cables are available for free. By being open 24/7 for members, KAPTÁR Budapest is great if you are working in different time zones.
KAPTÁR offers various pricing options, including half-day and full-day passes (from €15 onwards). For those needing more frequent access, there are 4, 8 and 13-day passes ranging from €55 to €120. A fixed monthly pass provides a key for 24/7 access. Meeting rooms can be booked from €15 per hour, depending on their size.
